Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

The KiedyKarawana mobile app is designed to collect only the minimum data needed to function:

• Push notification token (FCM) — a unique device identifier generated by Firebase Cloud Messaging, required to deliver notifications about new videos. The token contains no name or email address and cannot by itself identify a specific person.

We do not collect: analytics data, crash reports, advertising data, tracking data, account data, payment data, or location. The app displays no ads.

3. Data stored on your device

The list of watched videos and the cached channel header are stored only in your device's memory. This data never leaves your phone. You can remove it at any time by uninstalling the app.

4. Purposes and legal basis

We process the FCM token to deliver the new-video notifications you request by using the app and granting notification permission at the operating-system level. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract — providing the notification service) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest — keeping the service running).

5. Data recipients

The FCM token is passed to a processor: Google Ireland Limited (Firebase Cloud Messaging). Google's data practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy and the Firebase privacy documentation. The processor may process data outside the European Economic Area — such transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. YouTube

The app uses the YouTube Data API to display the watched channel's name, thumbnail and subscriber count. Channel content belongs to its owner. The app is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, or the channel's author. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

7. Data retention

We keep the FCM token until you uninstall the app or disable notifications — the token then expires and is removed from the push service's servers.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your data, as well as the right to object (GDPR Art. 15–21). To exercise these rights, email info@kiedykarawana.pl. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Poland: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl).

9. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children's data.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date.
